Hey Twitter App-makers…Have you heard of the iPad?

by Eric Greenspan on May 12, 2010

I’m a big user of Tweetdeck on the PC and Mac. I also use Tweetdeck on my iPhone. Hootsuite is my favorite for iPhone 3.x (crashes in my OS 4.0 beta 3).  But for my iPad…I’ve tried the Tweetdeck for iPad and its missing most of what makes Tweetdeck great elsewhere. It’s a dog so far.

Next, I purchased and tried Twitterific. Nope. Just, nope.

The latest app I’ve purchased and began to use is Twittelator. I must say this app impresses me. Its smooth, has most of what I need but lacks the multiple columns I fell in love with in using Tweetdeck. It’s $4.99, which makes it an expensive [in iPhone/iPad terms anyhow] app to demo.

Twitter on Safari? Someone please tell me how to NOT use it in mobile form and this would solve my problem, for now.

So, my recommendation: I just don’t have anything better to offer than…Use your iPhone or your laptop. You can also just use your old iPhone apps in 2x until things improve.

P.S. If you need help with any of these devices or applications, my company Make It Work is just a phonecall (877)-625-3489 or click away.
